The Flash Measuring Machine (FMM) is a high-precision dimensional measuring instrument employing double telecentric optical lens imaging technology. This innovative design enables rapid and accurate measurement within 2-3 seconds.

Simply place the workpiece and initiate measurement with a single button. The FMM is capable of capturing micron-level details, making it an invaluable tool for diverse manufacturing industries, including electronics, molds, stamping, rubber, PCB boards, automotive components, cutting tools, plastics, and more.

ONE KEY PRECISION MEASUREMENT SOLUTION

The concept of FMM measurement is to obtain highly accurate and rapid measurement results with just a single button press. FMM can replace measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, or profile projectors, and can also reduce human error in using the tools

High Depth of Field 

Equipped with a Double telecentric optical Lens system, the FMM offers exceptional image quality and a deep depth of field, eliminating the need for manual focus adjustments. The system's automated focus function ensures optimal image clarity, minimizing the risk of human-induced measurement errors.

Unlike traditional measurement tools that rely on subjective focus and edge alignment settings, the FMM's automated features, including auto focus, position identification, and edge alignment, guarantee consistent and repeatable measurement results. In conjunction with Vision X software, the FMM can measure up to 512 features on a single workpiece, encompassing a wide range of geometric parameters such as length, width, curves, circles, parallelism, perpendicularity, angles, and more.


Optional Laser probe 

With the addition of an optional laser probe, Chotest machines can perform a wider range of measurements such as workpiece height, surface roughness, contour, and parallelism.

Other Features

  • CAD Import: The software can import CAD files (DXF format) into VisionX to define Go/No-Go dimensions, allowing users to create measurement programs without physical samples
  • Statistical Measurement: Measurement results and key statistical data (e.g., mean, σ, 3σ, 6σ, Ca, Cp, Cpk, etc.) are automatically recorded and stored. Operators can search for records based on various conditions. Histograms can be displayed to visualize the variation and distribution of product quality, providing insights into process quality.
  • SPC Analysis: Statistical process control methods are used to monitor product quality and process trends through quality diagnostic analysis. This proactive approach helps to reduce defective products and improve overall product quality.
  • Report Generation: Measurement records can be imported and exported, and reports can be generated in PDF, Excel, or CSV formats. The data can also be integrated into custom customer report templates.

  • CAD Import: Users can create measurement plans directly from CAD drawings.
  • Statistical Analysis: The software provides detailed data analysis, including statistical process control (SPC) for quality monitoring.
  • Custom Reporting: The software can generate customizable reports in various formats.
